Up until now, I've created mostly designs based of off Kamen Rider series. I've therefore always wanted to create something for Sentai fans. However, I've only watched a few Sentai like Gaoranger, Hurricanger, and half of Gokaiger, so creating something that I'm not fully immersed in is quite a challenge for me. I tried picking Sentai up again back in Kyuranger, then again during Zenkaiger, but nothing really stuck. Surprisingly, Boonboomger outlasted the test, and that was around the time that this collab took place.

Having watched both Sentai and Rider, the one thing that I feel is most iconic about Super Sentai is the team role call, where each member of the squadron gets their own highlight. The second symbol of Sentai to me is their gattai, individualized machines that combine into a gigantic robot. With these themes in mind, I combined the dotted art style inspired from BoonBoomger 2nd Lap Poster, the iconic spirit of role call, and the appearance of gattai components into this collection.
