The Forbidden Fruit is a fruit of nigh-limitless power, where even its seeds contain great power, as one such seed was formed to create the Kiwami Lockseed. It is mainly referred to in the show as the Golden Fruit, with the Fruit of Knowledge being used at least once. 

The Fruit God design was inspired after the Japanese origami art on gold-foiled paper. If you look closely at the design, the colors Forbidden Fruit and Kiwami Lockseed are actually of Japanese silk scroll with the blemishing texture that is of time.
