Aired on January 30, 2000, Kamen Rider Kuuga is the tenth installment of the popular Kamen Rider Series of tokusatsu shows and the first of the series to air entirely in the Heisei period. Having himself telepathically linked to a mysterious stone belt, Yusuke Godai believes that he is fated to be the warrior Kuuga, who fights the Gurongi monsters that keeps murdering humans. The catchphrase for the series is "A New Hero, A New Legend". This series also marked the first Kamen Rider series since the passing of the Original Creator, Shotaro Ishinomori, in 1998.
