Sumida Kanato was a high-school student who participated in the Desire Grand Prix as Kamen Rider Da·Paan. He is a vain, resentful, and misanthropic individual who sees people as pests due his personal misfortune. His misanthropic antipathy is exemplified through him defiantly rejecting teamwork and trading offers. Nevertheless, he is a very skilled marksman. He is able to charge the Magnum Shooter 40X in its Rifle Mode and fires an energy bullet at a constatly moving target.
